In the past one decade the media industry hitherto composed of humble medium scale set-ups has morphed into high tech large and diversified undertakings with global presence. And with this growth comes the phenomenal global acceptance of media offerings. Media users are increasing daily in leaps and bounds. Homes, businesses and personal lives are now mostly run on media platforms and their enabling technologies. The media constitute the channels through which news, entertainment, education, data and promotional messages are disseminated. It is the prevailing global platform of social and business engagements.
